tfw you make a thread go from a question about WL's current viability in t2 on a warhammer private server and end up talking about balance in dota 2.

1.Fixing Wl is simple; you need to improve the ai to be less buggy otherwise the class as a whole cannot function well as its designs relies on the pet too much

2.You need to improve stat sharing between the player and the pet so that it’s a bit more durable

3.Fiddle with the mastery trees; move some abilities around and change some abilities like primal fury and add an inc hdbuff

4.???

5. Nerf pounce

No no, its even simpler.

1. Give pounce to the lion.

2. Remove the elf.

3. Give lion weapons to wield Okami/Syf style.

4. Be amazed at the first class that doesnt need a heal debuff because pounces in, fetchs whhoever out of the group, pounces to him and kills him out of heal range.

Balance and pimp lions, we also get the furry community to play but i dont really see that as an upside tbh.

if wl have an ap problem i wonder if ppl would you like a skill like choppa to refill ap with cd etc or a different way like a tactic

Heal debuff is just a start.

Pet have to be more reliable and durable (lvl40) and PvE abilities (Baiting Strike) and tactics (Threatining Distraction, Stalker) need change. AP management and AoE and DoT attacks need some fixing as well.

After that, you could nerf some of WL's frontloaded burst and nerf Pounce.

Now im down for all those changes

Just a curious question though, how can wls have ap issues late game, when no class in the game if I recall correctly had no ap issues because of:
ap potions, gear that increase ap regeration rate, and potions that increase ap regeneration rate?

In fact it was because of all those factors that certain abilities late game (like choppas ap ability) was not spec’d, simply because there was no need for them

well in live they had to spam pounce relentlessly now hat work fine it should be better
