Any SM Fashion guide?

We know that SM doesn't have many options, horrible helmets, long and embarrassing dresses... :D

But has anyone made a guide to items like swords, shields, shoulder pads, or different helmets?

All SM helmets are horrid, and no self-respecting SM would ever be seen in one. Therefore just click the 'hide item' option on your Paper-Doll screen.

Nothing can be done about the dresses. Elf clothing was originally designed by Harvey Fierstein, so.

As for appearance of other items such as swords, shields and shoulder pads, any item found anywhere in the RoR world can be slotted for appearance. I do not know of any official guide, but changing the appearance of an item is easy enough to play around with. Some percentage of the player-base at large takes Fashion-Hammer quite seriously. I'm sure one of the Fashionistas will be glad to help out.

As a counter example, I give you Jayne Cobb

Yes, of course, that's the intention of whoever creates these items... they don't worry much about maintaining the same standard of visual impact. In fact, I believe that, for the most part, they do it on purpose because they hate the race/class.

I had a hat like that once, when I was in the third grade. My mom bought it for me and made me wear it to school. And this was in August. I had to fight a dog on the way who was trying to eat it, and then another dog, and then some old lady who came running off her porch screaming at me "Barritus!" Which, of course, at the time I didn't know what that meant but it sounded cool. By the time I got to school I was covered in blood. It was the old lady's, but still. My teacher asked me what happened and I yelled 'Barritus!' and she shook her head and then told me to take my hat off because, you know, it was fracking August.
