I feel like I am noob right now and I am completely lost on the interface after adding the KelpUI addons. I am on a Chosen and playing on 1080p resolution, so if anybody has a config folder to share with me I would be extremely grateful. Thanks
I already attached a link for this previously under my previous post for: KelpUI_v20250107_S

Download this which already has the /user and /interface folders and follow these instructions which I mentioned previously:

Before you do the following, make sure your character is already created first! :

Navigate to your game installation folder. Usually it's something like:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning

Backup your Interface and user folders. Use these to restore your settings and addon setup if something goes wrong or you don't like the UI.

In your game folder delete Interface, user and cache folders.

Extract KelpUI_v20250107_S.zip in to the game folder (it contains new 2x folders (1x Interface & 1x user). Make sure those are in the game folder before continuing.

[ IMPORTANT ] Navigate to:
Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning/user/settings/Martyrs Square
Pick the default template folder, copy and paste it within the same folder and then rename it to what your respective character is called.
For example, if my Chosen is called Vermont I make a copy of template_character_name and rename it to Vermont.
Note that character names always start with a capital letter.

Once you log on to a character for the first time after installing the UI pack you might have to run a /reload command for all settings to load properly.

Disable the following 4x addons ingame since the default Menu Bar and default Influence Bar are better:
WarBoard_Alliance
WarBoard_GP
WarBoard_GuildF
WarBoard_Inf

Update: 12/8/2024
Do the following to unhide the third action bar so it doesn't disappear when you un-hover over it (credit: Lilim) :

Code: Select all

/hidebar forceoff

To make font size of unit target font's more readable using "OverheadFonts" addon, do esc>User Settings>Targeting tab and change the following:

More info here: viewtopic.php?t=53330

All essential addons are included as covered previously in this thread and do not have to be separately installed. All User has to do is just put them in their warhammer game folder.

I made a video that covered this previously:

You do not have to download all the addons separately because that isn't KelpUI; you would have to both manually position everything and configure all the addons, which is unnecessary.

You will have to adjust the following:
  • You will have to change screen resolution size though from default "1920x1080" to whatever your monitor size is.
  • You will have to re-enable Target Titles and Target Guild. Do: Escape>User Settings>Targeting>check "Target Titles" and "Target Guild" to enable it. Then click "Apply">"OK".
  • Class mechanic window will need to be customized to your preference, you can just use Layout Editor to easily change the window location. Do: "Escape>Customize Interface>Layout Editor>Start Editing>make changes>Exit>Save>Yes" to modify.
  • Warcommander and MGRemix(not recommended using in keeps and forts) windows will need to be customized to your preference, you can just use Layout Editor to easily change their window locations. Do: "Escape>Customize Interface>Layout Editor>Start Editing>make changes>Exit>Save>Yes" to modify.
  • Default Public Quest window will need to be customized to your preference, you can just use Layout Editor to easily change the window location. Do: "Escape>Customize Interface>Layout Editor>Start Editing>make changes>Exit>Save>Yes" to modify.

Hey Khelqhaineion, thanks for the explanation, but I wasn't referring to the config User folder, I was actually referring to the layout people have set up on their game. Everything is big, chaotic, placed all around my monitor. I know that I can configure it, but the problem is I don't know what all these add-ons included on your package are about, what is really useful, what I should keep on and where to put for better visualization.

As I've said I've been away from this game for more than 2 years and I don't remember everything, so I just wanted to have an easy way to have everything setup and good to go. Also, I don't know how can I disable the target information, when I am targeting an enemy I see its name wrote several times (NPC name above head, the name on the health-bar, the name on the left of the NPC) and it makes hard to see the character 3D with all this information. How I can hide all those name or configure the targeting info/health?

Can you post a screenshot or imgur link of your UI?

Also make sure rvmods is configured to turn off excessive names, only "targetinforing" addon should have names enabled:

Image
Do: /rvmod
Select "Targets / Frames"
Select "Edit" for "FRIENDLY TARGET"
In "Frame" tab, uncheck "Rectangle" Make sure "Lines" are enabled.
In "Strings" tab, uncheck everything.
In "Career Icon" tab, uncheck it.
In "Animation" tab, uncheck it.
Click "OK"
Do some for "HOSTLE TARGET"
For both "Filters" option, check everything except "Self" and "Hide When".
Click "X" button on top-right to close window.

Can someone tell me how you leave a Party when using PURE Unit Frames? The Right Click Menu option is no longer available - what's the slash command to leave party?

I have a large time bar with 10s, 30s, 1m, 10m in my the top middle of my UI. In the editor it does not have a name and I tried clicking every window in the list but can not activate it or move it. Can anyone tell me what this is and what I am overlooking? Thanks!

Very Amazing guide, thanks so much for the assistance. I'm also struggling with removing over head health bars. I have confirmed that rvmod has it off and it is indeed off in the default targetting settings as well (was initially blank and I turned it to off when troubleshooting this issue, hopefully that doesn't conflict with other mods

The icons above allied players are from Enemy, the ones above enemy players are from AutoMark.
