2. Also as per healers in scenarios they can pinpoint good healdebuffs and focus fire with a BW to score a kill.
1. Full offtanks - maybe. But still, even if you somehow manage to deal max damage to this tank (you will not) as 4k FA+2-3k FTW it will not kill him with full hp. If someone is assisting you - then maybe.
2. And your opponent will be drooling and watching while you are closing in to use your debuffs, right? Yeah, randoms usually do exactly that. But good groups will focus you down the moment you come too close - and yes, 65ft IS too close sometimes - the moment you are ready to use your healing debuff you may find yourself being pulled/full of dots from SH/sorc. Its nice and all to fight against randoms, but in really serious fight you are not that great.

this point can be said for any class. Being a pvp game is implicit that the enviroment is not static.
in min max enviroment, as you say in last part of sentence, any ranged class is useless. This game got in last 6 years a melee ball meta for a reason.

Some ranged classes can do their stuff from 100ft. Some cannot. That is the point (yes, i do hate the guy who deleted skirmish SW from RoR).

DPS AM. ST face melting plus a LOT of utility. Lords and Ladies of Solo/Small party play. I've tried other rdps but feel useless compared to the spec.

But I assume that DPS AM are not welcome in groups.

For me it´s Engineer followed up by Shadow Warrior.

If big numbers and highest kill count aren´t Your priorities, Engineer has all fun tools RDPS can have.

Engis get a similar number of kills whether or not they use their turrets.

People you don't know are pretty much never going to invite you, but if you have friends you play with or a guild, they work decently well for roaming in a 3man or 6man. Your dps cycle has too long of a cooldown to be of any use in scenarios, but while roaming you usually have enough downtime between ganks that your laser is available again.
