all pounce/self punt type abilities should have a shorter range and incresed cd.

It works but it doesnt have piority over other effects, such as KD or interrupt, so if u gonna get interrupted or someone will KD u while u r in the animation effect it will not work. Its same with WH/WE selfpunt, the difference is, WH/WE selfpunt staggers enemy so in 1 on 1 will work almost always, but it can be aswell be interrupted or stopped.

funnily enough sometimes it DOES work AFTER i get knockdowned. i've noticed same pattern on SH self-punt. and sometimes it can get "cancelled" if they KD you after you cast self-punt. and sometimes it simply doesn't self-punt you even though i see "whirling pin" slow on enemy that was near me and i wasn't affected by any CC. that's how i know it's not working as intended. it is the most random skill that i have encountered in game.

also tooltip says something like "punts you away FROM the enemy". it doesn't, for instance if there's single enemy behind you and you use that skill you should be getting punted forward, however you always get punted to your back no matter of enemy position.

It’s fine to not like a skill tactic etc but when asking for “balance” the fact that something is different to other skills is irrelevant as game is meant to be asymmetrical balanced. Ie not 1:1

What you would need to identify is how this affects realm balance .

This is the only punt that reduces the players defenses
This skill gives immunities to those punted
…..

It’s not like destro is wining in rvr , keeps or forts

So what is the realm balance issue you are trying to address

Yeah, and lotd is totally not under destro 99% of the time.

And MSH has an impact on this ? Let’s hear it.

But LoTD is not about class or realm balance, look at the threads that explain orders problem, or a simplified stop blobbing as only tactic, take objectives….. these are dealt with in other threads.

First identify a realm imbalance , identify the problem generating the imbalance ,and then suggest solution identifying how it addresses the issue and affects the rest of the game.

Ofc MSH have huge impact on it, destro have one more aoe mdps than order, guess what is meta right now ? You know it stacking aoe mdps in warbands,+ also bring non-mirrored utility

Stacking choppers is meta, spamming any type of aoe punt is strongly discourage as it’s just free immunities
Agree msh with choppa and guard are helpful but not thier AOE punt.

Maybe to be specific how is the aoe punt helping in LoTD , punt them off the desert maybe ?
