hail all,
what's important for me is everyone is treated the same, no more 'lucky dip' cheating rng
it's no longer some get handed everything immediately by rng and others are cheated relentlessly by rng
this way everyone know what they will need to do and everyone needs the same amount and can plan accordingly
fine as paint
i remember i had to grind out my entire vanq set thru vanq tokens (this was even before the game went to easy mode and gave ppl free boots and gloves from AH or a main or guildy) the cheating game giving me 11 vanq helms in a row in gold bags NOTHING else. (apart from the day ofc when i finally got all my vanq gear from grinding it and ofc the next 2 gold bags were shoudlers and gloves, the cheating game knowing i now didnt need them anymore). I wouldnt wish this rng cheating on anyone so im glad its gone. Note Ive played 3.5 years have had 1000 gold bags and still never had a vanq chest drop..... whereas as some ppl got the chest on their first ever bag,,, im glad this has now ended.
I also recall needing genesis fragment and genesis remnant and the cheating game 'rng' giving me 8 genesis aspects and 8 genesis shards,, no remnants or fragments to be seen,. I wouldnt wish this on anyone, so im glad this is now gone
Luck should never ever replace merit or effort.
Ive never cared in any MMO whether its kill 10 orcs for a helm or kill 100 orcs for a helm or kill 10,000 orcs for a helm as long as its the SAME for all players.
Nothing worse in any MMos than 'ooh kill that mob and there is a 20% drop chance of the epic shield,',, and some people get it straight away in 5mins and others between 3 to 9 tries in 1hour and im there 3 days later 83 tries and still no shield drop due to cheating rng,
Glad to see the back of it. Well done.,
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Everyone wanted to, a lot at once, and to do nothing. And random is like the tonic in this cocktail.
(
earned it!!! on the bag = get it, and part of the set is in it, but with a share of randomness, but for me it's better than a hopeless grind of 100500 crosses, and it doesn't matter what level of your game. It's hardly noticeable in the herd)
And I've been playing this game for more than 10 years (taking into account the official version) and fundamentally disagree with you, initially warhammer attracted players with a simplified system of equipment (the key is no pve grind or the necessary minimum, and the RvR system - where a drop in a PC or other useful actions were rewarded with a drop of a medal and a proportional quiver of RR from your contribution), and it was in RoR that the system for obtaining pp and loot was changed in favor of noobs (new players). I do not know why, And the administration always went to meet any wishes and cries of those who always lacked time or skill, good luck making their game useful, making kills of the opposite faction (this is the main way of earning rena and medals) As a result, we all came to the conclusion that you can just run 10-15 locks "useless wagon" without doing anything, but eventually get your golden bag (with a piece of the coveted set) as a result, a freelancer (solo player with great skill) but playing on certain classes does not get anything at all except funny numbers Renown 20 or 60...89.(example / HEALING on rvr off party(liching). Everyone wanted this equalization, and they got it. Everyone (in general, everyone) was given bags, and what kind of stupidity is complaining about randomness in loot. You were guaranteed a 1000% bag.
And on the other side there are really cool players/useful ones. some family, working, who could devote 2-3 hours a day to the game, the whole pvp loot system in ROR plays against them.
I'm not judging anyone. and I understand the developers (they want to find a middle ground, I think, I hope) But the new system is a very serious blow to the noobs (new players) and this has further increased the threshold for entering this game.( the difference between sovrer/ and duelist. mercenary, conq, vanquish is HUGE) and since the solo/gank and a number of other key game mechanics/and stats have been completely eradicated. this further increases the requirement not for the player's personal skill, but more for the time of his presence in the game. lassic AoR was simply and incredibly good because You sat down at the Game and broke into battle. Almost all of the equipment was very cheap and easily earned in 1-2 -3 weeks of non-strenuous play.Yes, 80+ sets always required (a well-coordinated group game), but there were analogues with a slight decrease, but easily accessible.
P.S. The nearest acceptable "Invader" by stats, what kind of stupidity is it to collect it for months, just a minium in order not to die from every FART of passing enemies
