and one more thing about BO>SM ..Pls compare Dragon Talon with BO Savin Me Hide - simple 3 stance buff for all group with toughens and magic dmg resistance (only one that can be real threat to most of destro chars including mara and msh ). Then compile SM ww + buggy or not Dragon Talon (with RT) vs SMH + WAAAGH (with Mor Choppin Dem). I dont know about you, but i think there is clear winner. Pls tell me if i miss something here.
Karak Azgal - Haron WP
Karak Norn - Haeroon KoTBS
RoR:
- Chaeron - SM
- Nogrun - magnet eng
- Cheron - i want sorc Black Horror skill for my BW ;)

Yep Order has no group autoattack buffs. It used to be that Order had more AA increasers, but Destro got served a big helping between Mythic's last days and some earlier RoR changes. So once again Destro is now by leaps and bounds superior at something Order once was designed as having an advantage in.

As for SMH/Dragon Talon it depends on how everything stacks. I'm guessing since DT is an outgoing damage debuff it doesn't stack with things like M2, but since SMH is keyed to incoming magic damage it would - though it might conflict with Sorc M2, which is less commonly used.

Spoiler:

CD reducers can be shattered too => whats the problem then?

I'll gladly advocate a trade though if you'd like. Chop Fasta! for Wounds buff? I'm on board.
im up to trade the whole realms => trade anything from destro to order and viceversa. Im on board too!
Finally you didnt tell if you are on board for a whole realm trade...

all this shitposting was too much fun, but i have stuff to do at home...be safe, and remember: keep solo queueing (its for a good cause)

What exactly would a complete swap achieve? Oh right, nothing. Keep trying, though. Have fun with your stuff to do.

We know that if this happened the former Destro (now Order) would get roflstomped

It's been good for elaborating how common Destro whines about Order are based on flimsy understanding of the game and failing math grades :D

Just try for a second here and think about Balacing and RoR.

It is a small dev team, trying to ship us a product that even the orginal paid studio failed to make balanced. Yes this is actually way more playable in terms of performance, class to class playablilty (magus and engineer is a thing on ror, it wasnt really on live)
And then take into account that the server is fairly small. its not like ServerA has a destro side winning where as ServerB has Order side dominating.

Any community issue we think we have here, might not be the case in an other server with the exact same patch level.
Take ranked scenarios as an example, the same few extremely skilled and experienced players will dominate and win whatever side they play on, this singlehandedly will make the overall ranked scenario results be affected and then the community perception of what is balanced for smallscale.

Same goes for cityinstance balance, TUP as an example have shown since release that both sides have a strongsuit and you just need coordination, dedication and playing to your strengths on each realm to win no matter what the flavor of the month forum complaint is.

And this brings me back to my first sentence here, How on earth are the devs supposed to take playerfeedback when we have players from different skilllevels, game experience, game knowledge, commitment, playtime, ping, timezone, 1v1, ganking, smallscale, 6man, guildfocused, realmfocused, campaign focused, casuals, roleplayers and whatever else we all have in the same house.

An ability like Rampage has been the same for like 12years now, it was always the same, some patches make it standout more clearly if nothing else seems to be the scapegoat, sometimes "better players" switch sides and dominate ranked on order, or destro. Depending on the month and who is playing.
We only have this one server, and a big gab between player performance. Trying to balance this game in just an unmirrored version must be a nightmare, but also trying to tackle the list from above on top seem near impossible.

That being said, because rampage has been the same for 12 years doesnt mean the players are still playing the same way and any old ability should still be up for evaluation of adjustments along with how the players preform on the server. But have fun tracking that and adjusting anything broadly that for sure will upset someone from a different bracket and playstyle than was maybe intented, as everything here is eventually combined.
(example see how DPS dok healdebuff in ranked scenarios killed zealot/runepriest niece dps warband build)

This game will NEVER be "ballanced" when its unmirrored and people have different pings. Take it for what it is, its nostalgia and its free. Merry Xmas everyone!
