What is Sildur's Enhanced graphics?
It's my custom ReShade, modified to work with Warhammer online. (ReShade is an injector that allows custom shaders to be injected into the game)
It features antialiasing, ambient occlusion (MXAO), bloom, color adjustements and sharpening.
Be sure to check the thread and post for updates!

Spoiler:
1. Download Sildur's Enhanced Warhammer v2.3.
2. Unpack it in to your Warhammer online folder, where the war.exe is located at.
3. That's it, you're ready to go, just start the game and it should say something about reshade in the upper left corner.
Hotkeys:
- Reshade can be toggled with F11
- FXAA with F10
- Ambient occlusion with F9
If you're coming from a previous version before 2.0 and use a nvidia gpu, go into nvidia inspector and remove the warhammer profile or set it back to default, its no longer needed.
CHANGELOG:
Code: Select all
v2.3:
- Updated custom reshade binaries (4.9.0)
- Updated shaders
- Added an option to toggle ambient occlusion by pressing F9
- Disabled default FXAA, now only using my custom version of it. (Disabled by default, can be enabled by pressing F10)
v2.2:
- Updated custom reshade binaries (reshade 4.7.0)
- Improved lighting / shading even more
- Added a new option to fxaa, you can now adjust a square in which FXAA is enabled to prevent quest texts and just things on the edge of your monitor to be blurred.
- FXAA is disabled by default, SMAA does a good enough job while playing the game without making everything fuzzy.
v2.1:
- Updated custom reshade binaries
- Updated shaders
- Replaced sharpening shader
- Improved FXAA to reduce fuzzy font
- F10 now disables FXAA and sharpening if you want to reduce fozzy font even more.
- Minor shader settings adjustments
- Ported the uncharted 2 tonemap used in my minecraft shaders over to reshade.
- Previous tonemap is now off by default, replaced by my tonemap port which is a bit more faithful to the games look.
- Added latest quint shaders by martyMC (Mxao, reflections, sharpening, depth of field, lightroom, only sharpening and mxao are on by default)
v2.0:
- Now supports the depth buffer, allowing more shader effects that rely on it.
- Added ambient occlusion (MXAO)
- Added bloom
- Enabled FXAA by default (antialiasing)
- SMAA now uses the depth buffer to find jagged edges (antialiasing)
- Added sharpening to help with antialiasing blur.
v1.04:
- Updated reshade binaries
- Included more shaders (off by default)
- WIP access to the depth buffer
- Added support for 32 bit systems and win7
v1.03:
- Updated to reshade 4.2.1
- Reworked tonemap, went for a more darker and grim look. More fitting to the games style.
Delete old reshade folder before applying!
v1.02:
- Removed enbinjector, because it sometimes fails to hook the game correctly.
- Added modified dinput8.dll, this file is used by warhammer but not present in the game's folder by default.
So the launcher won't patch it. It's now used to hook reshade.
v1.01:
- Updated reshade to 3.4, use F11 to toggle ingame effects on and off.
- Now using enbinjector instead of modified game files, so the launcher should no longer break it.
- Color adjustements
- Color dithering to reduce banding. Just looking at the sky should show the effect.
Sildur's Enhanced Warhammer Profile v1.01:
- Updated profile to work with 64bit exe.
Sildur's Enhanced Warhammer v1.0:
- Replaced enbseries+sweetFx with ReShade 2.0, some more changes to color highlighting.
- Fixed Lightmaps, mod is now injected through binkw32.dll, so replace it with your old one.
Sildur's Enhanced Warhammer Profile v1.0:
- Removed FXAA, everythings way less blurry. Also no more fuzzy letters.
- FXAA has been replaced with MSAA, might be a bit more performance tanking.
- Fixed shimmering leaves.
