Please be carefull with dok/wp mechanics, this little change is pushing them a little bit away from group style of playing.
Half-heal and half-dps now gonna have less heal and more dps, which means they became less valueable for group. Doks will save they're group playing style by prefering Pillage Essence, but it gonna make them weaker in compare with WPs. And i mentioned about they're ballance here:viewtopic.php?f=15&t=17726

Don't even try to imply I do that; any post I edit I do because it was breaking one of the forum rules, and the CM (Natherul) and head GM (Wargrimnir) are aware of pretty much 99% of whatever I do there.warislove wrote:@Penril

As for whining: If someone is opposed to a change, but gives ZERO arguments, then YES: I call that whining.

Apart from that solid changes as usual for rvr , gotta try out the the dmg boost on Wracking Agony (i don't think it was that necessary, considering dps dok output is already sufficient but i won't wail over any positive changes to dps dok's)

point was that if you give an argument to a change it doesnt matter bcs there are 5 ppl with their shiny wall of text arguing their side of the story and they get their way more often than not...
example: 10 ppl that cant understand how to fight against guard/super punt will qq how its unfair to have those abilities in the way that they are and will cry for their change (and in this case they are not considered whiners?) if they are vocal enough the changes that they want will be implemented...without them maybe try to understand the system and work around guard/punt...(or insert random ability that average player cba to understand)
maybe im wrong about this but when i played on live and got destroyed by someone my plan was to get better and to not cry how someone is OP

I also don't understand how moral pumps are all "changed" to work based on the new scaling system when AM moral pump takes a gcd for example, as in the chosen's one doesn't.Azarael wrote:All Morale-Affecting Skills

You're asking back-liners to be at the front line (have enemies around within 54 feet of an AM?) for the moral pump to work? I'm pretty sure you've just killed any viability in doing it so since putting a cloth healer within 54 feet or enemies is basically asking to be killed.
Why wasn't this discussed also in the balance forums?
You can't just put every moral gain/drain within the same scaling rules since the classes play differently, position themselves differently & just work differently overall.

Why do you think the morale gain topic is still open? So you can post exactly that in the correct thread. It's not for me to address individual values for morale drains and pumps, and that's why the SM drain is now completely gimped as well. My brief was to deal with the meta morale pumps, those which were causing active imbalances for current rates. Go to the topic and discuss it, and we'll look at individual pumps and drains.
It is a common tactic for those who are not successful within a process to try to denigrate the process. If you weren't listened to, it means your arguments were not persuasive enough.
