Just looked it up. Both rr100 and Mara change was in the 1.4 patch.

You mean for the last year of the game? You are aware that warhammer was a live game for more than a year right?

I'm talking about current balancing, and currently the marauder is the most powerful DPS and among the top 3/4 classes in the game. It does not need any buffs whatsoever. And yes I am well aware that marauder used to be an ap drain bot and nothing else.

I think the only problem in case of marauder is Piercing Bite that allows them to spec more def or to allowing them to spec for more off renown spec. To have this tactic on class that has access to the best ST armor debuff+wounds debuff sounds kinda overkill... and I think it was bugged, same as Feeding on Fear (though I have no marauder, so I do not know if these tactics work like they should here)

I think slayers got ultra broken with rr100 gear and its crit+crit dmg proc + massive AA haste that allowed them to hit so fast you could just remove all your abilities from hotbar and still hit like truck

Slayers problem on live was the 100% uptimes on all gear and abillity procs thanks to undefendeble ID ticks.

Well yes then for current balancing, I'd assume the marauder would need to be toned down significantly.

The problem I see with altering class abilities significantly as opposed to altering gear significantly is that some of the abilities are highly useful in Small scale and Large scale fights. For example Group Cleanse is probably one of the most OP abilities for WP/DOK, but its extremely useful in large scale situations where you're likely to have random DoT's/Debuffs all over you from a range of types (hexes, curses, etc). Or how ST 0cd cleanse for RP/Z is so effective in small scale because you can nullify the rotation of a BW completely (Which IMO is completely unfair as it basically nullifies an entire classes build)

I could go on and on about that and its a good sign that the Devs are working on Balancing abilities as opposed to gear. However IMO I think the reason the game was so linear towards the end was because it was easier to balance gear around PvP as opposed to balancing abilities around PvP which is why we saw Sov and the 90+ sets get such extreme additions to them in a variety of different ways in the last year or two of the game.

Current balancing of what peps running t3 sets in t4 shure lets talk about this they good now only cause of gear gap cause everybody runing with low armor wounds parry blocks disprupts no crit, no quick escape ojira juw sets from TOVL shure they shine for now but only for now.

And cause of that my zeal dying in 2 gcd against any good dd some day got a 2 tics of bal from hat 1500 and 2000 and i go only 4k wounds and no armor every thing will change with new gear implemented and maras will squeek like a pigs and flow the forum with tears cause of that and rolling choppas and sorcs or even ddtank

hope not cause they gonna whine, here and now maras maybe good but there when you implemented more and more you see. Even 90rr 100rr don't helped maras on live and i got 100rr mara there i Frogin know what im talking about.

RR 100 Mara was one of the most powerful classes in the game. You don't 'froggin' know what you're talking about.
