it can't be save annihilator is a t4 set for the sake of the test of new stuff we have to bear it some in a while.
The problem could be badder if the cap raise again then we may need really gear, but even spec purple stuff i hardly see anything good as the 10% def proc for tank or a 30% damage increase.
we may ask to have the 3 mid t4 zone if we really need to have t4 stuff and rank increase, it's no different from have 3x t3 zone anyway.
we are almost in t4 anyway see it as temp thing.

Re: New cap dmg
I used to run with conq+inv combo in t3 back on live when people got bolstered to 39. Thats much higher then a full annahilator would be at 35. Annahilator is a 31 set btw so even that one is behind on armor vallues atm.Tesq wrote:it can't be save annihilator is a t4 set for the sake of the test of new stuff we have to bear it some in a while.

Re: New cap dmg
You do realise this is a test/alpha-state server, right? And things are subject to change, fixing, etc?roadkillrobin wrote:Higher Weapon dps = more dmg

Armor scaling down = more dmg

Seriusly, the "top end" gear is 10 lvls behind in armor vallues. You don't even need to spec weaponskill on physical dmg dps anymore. the base weaponskill will give you what you need to hit about the same vallues as agianst ressistances. With armor debuffs you will hit even higher. Tanks at 60%ish armor mitgration with the "best" gear is laugheble tbh.
I warned about this a couple of days ago.

Ofc I do, hence why I give feedback.....peterthepan3 wrote:You do realise this is a test/alpha-state server, right? And things are subject to change, fixing, etc?roadkillrobin wrote:Higher Weapon dps = more dmg

Re: New cap dmg
My comment pertained more to the general tone some people have given/the shade being thrown at the devs for implementing a few extra levels to alleviate the boredom a lot of us may be feeling. My bad if I misinterpreted you. Just seems that people are so quick to point fingers!

Re: New cap dmg
Do you even play either of these classes?bloodi wrote:As far as i know, both of them are never used for burst rotations.Mavella wrote:Slow boil? Vision of torment? Both their burst just got a lot stronger.
Both Visons of Torment and Slow Boil are included in the standard burst rotations once you have access to them.
CW / VoT / WoP / AB / GB / ID/ HoR
Ignite / SB / BB / PS / Sear / Nova / WH
Also, your previous comment about SB / VoT not critting for 1k or if it does it's a miracle - On live at RR80 hitting soft caps my SB would crit for 2.2k.
Both SB and VoT are part of the standard rotation (If you're a player who knows what they are doing), because timed right, it all hits over 1 - 1.5 timestamps.
Re: New cap dmg
@road we use origianl braket separation the t3 rvr set is dev and the last t3 level is (will return to be in future ) 31
annihilator, conc, invader and so on are all t4 sets, for the sake to not arrive alredy in sov when t4 will be relase it's better stick this way. We will just make all that effort to fix dungeons bad....

Re: New cap dmg
I think moast people who do post in these forums are quite subjective and only bother to raise ther opinions when something "negative" changes on their mains. Hence why all devs and long time players think all people who post their opinions are the same. My concerns have always been about the ballance of the game. And when i think something is really off I will post feedback about it. The raise of the lvl cap has shaken the ballance of the game. I was concerned allready back when they raised it to 32 but i didn't say anything about coz the difference was pretty minor. Then they added better dps sets and now raised the cap again. And now it' imo a legit reason to bring up the dmg mitigration vs dps ballance issue.peterthepan3 wrote:My comment pertained more to the general tone some people have given/the shade being thrown at the devs for implementing a few extra levels to alleviate the boredom a lot of us may be feeling. Re: New cap dmg
Your concerned about an "issue" that is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things when t4 is released the t3 level cap will go back down, for the time being just test out the levels and stuff like were supposed to be doing its not like this is the peremenanat level cap for t3

Re: New cap dmg
When you tell me a date for t4, I will stop being concerned about t3.TenTonHammer wrote:Your concerned about an "issue" that is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things when t4 is released the t3 level cap will go back down, for the time being just test out the levels and stuff like were supposed to be doing its not like this is the peremenanat level cap for t3
