True, after mythic decided to nerf Closed Quarters+Scorched Earth/Surging Pain - melee warbands became much more efficient than plain old bomb squads.

Funny thing, more often than people want everything to be handed to them on a silver spoon. If that does not happen automatically - they somehow get bored and even "heartbroken".
Some are just losers that way and should feed bad, not wanting to cooperate and defend their realm.
Playing around in praag while the enemy pushes for kadrin valley.

ive played at ST wb and it is quite viable, the thing is that you need t4 and at least sov gear with all the set aditional skills working. Moral drain the bomb wb and ST wreck their dps. It need some coordination and it is not as easy doable as bombing but it is pretty possible. Still sov gear is mandatory, so wont see soon ST wbs.
Mostly harmless

Not really, but it just goes to show that no one on destro wants to make their own coordinated guild wb. Every destro guild usually runs 6 mans and avoid communication with each other due to epeen or bad blood.

People will always find the most efficient way to deal with large quantities of foes.
Even if the nerfbat after nerfbat regarding so called "bombing" would occur, only one thing will change, tactics and composition, but one remain stable - that organized groups of people will stomp those whose are unorganised, even if highly outnumbered.

One of the most efficient and quickest wreckage ways back on live, were assist trains. They were hard to setup and coordinate, but when up and running were melting faces harder then bombers.
So, when they will come, there will be threads about nerfing melee dps and guard to the ground.

"Think different, Variation is good" my ass.
You do realize that in those glory years both sides had coordinated bomb groups. Right now only Order has a WB guild unless I'm missing something. Bombing is fun for a while until you have no one to go against. If all destro only did scenarios, what would bomb groups do? :?
Beavers used to do it in T2 when the cap was 26, Spellbraker did it with Fluffy Samurais after the cap was raised from 20 to 22 and his Slayer became a lolcow. Pretty sure the Russian Beavers on Destro tend to run with AoE specced Sorcs nowadays. Let's not pretend it's only viable to bomb in oRvR for Order; Destro can compete against it in the same way when playing smart and coordinated.

Either history truly does repeat itself or I'm having a massive case of deja vu...
