Another armor nerf.
The gap between light armor set bonuses with an armor pot and armor debuffs is almost nonexistent now.

Yeah, let’s make gameplay even more fun for classes with frontal burst damage.

Make the objectives give more renown and crests than kills.
Require the team to split in some fashion to cover the objectives. Nordenwatch and Gates of Ekrund are examples of better design. Gromril Crossing has the wrong idea.

Remove guards. Put in a war camp buff at the spawn. Don't like getting smoked at the enemy's spawn? Don't spawn camp.

Premades should go against other premades. Add to that that the weekend scenario event should be solo queueable.

I think a better, though more difficult, approach would be to adjust how the bolster works, so twinks wouldn't be as much of an issue.

Slightly off-topic, but this is another example of a general problem with the way RoR's dev team approaches problems by addressing symptoms instead of causes ...

I have a bunch of duplicates. Items that no one would ever buy multiples of (such as multiple invader helms, sov helms, and mercenary helms).

Is there a fix coming or is this just how it is now?

One of the main issues is that the game constantly punishes the loser while rewarding the winners.

There is absolutely zero incentive to be on the losing side in any situation, RVR, keep fights, SCs - If you're on the losing side you might aswell be playing a different game entirely because ...

I still think Engis and Magus are on the weaker side, but i don't think the issue is the class itself, but the current state of the game where more burst dmg trumps everything else. We can't have a class that can deal as much or more dmg than a mDPS but from 85ft away, that's not balanced. Back ...

Magus can do respectable aoe or single-target damage.


Ok, so how as magus do you do aoe comparable to choppa? Or say to sorc spamming Shattering Shadows with CQ + Piercing Shadows + Frozen Touch?
