Spec switcher

Suggestion for future. It would be good to have an option to switch between two preset specs. Like in WoW, yeah.
With chat commands, probably. 3 minutes "cast" time. Out of combat.

Why? For the sake of adaptability and convenience.

Thanks for reading.

I dont see any harm in this. Specially useful for pugs.

Let's say you are spec'd for DPS on your tank/healer, and when you join a SC you notice you are the ONLY tank/healer. This would allow you to change to a tank/heal spec immediately. Change your gear and you are set.

3 minute cast time is too long. Make it 10 secs or something like that, with a 3 minute Cd.

It would be neat, and possibly do-able on the code/DB side, but it would take an addon to add a "switch" or "save" button to the client. Assuming of course that the client is capable of sending a packet we can hijack for this purpose/with this data.

In the end, it might not be something that's possible for a long time for that reason alone - no ability at this time to modify the client.

How about putting a career NPC in the SC spawns? City sieges had those, so people could respec to whatever they needed. Maybe even reduce or eliminate the respec cost.

Keep in mind this will mostly help pugs and casuals. People running in premades usually run the same spec all the time and dont need to respec.
