Archmage's role in RvR

Playing Archmage for first 9 months of EU WAR I have fond memories of using huge Mistress of Marsh (Vaul ability 13, enlarged by tactic making Marsh, Rain and Age much bigger) and hitting multiple targets by Radiant Gaze (Golden Aura made it hit all targets in vicinity of original target). Notice the forementioned abilities/tactics were in first versions of live WAR, they were changed later.
Checking last version of Archmage in original WAR I've promptly found out that there is nothing like huge Mistress of the Marsh, no huge Rain, no huge Age, no AoE Radiant Gaze. Therefore my question: what does AM bring to RvR warbands besides being there and putting small Marsh here and there?

DPS AM is still the best class to solo roam in RvR, just as good in small groups.

Heal AM may be worse than what WP and RP bring, but in the hands of someone who knows how the play the class well they can still heal well enough while bringing AP drain and MoM, possibly other debuffs if it is not already covered by the group. AP drain and MoM still really damn strong.

Buff/Debuff stacking in this game kind of shits on some classes more than others.
