Gearing DPS AM/Shaman etc...

With the new RvR sets coming out how do healing classes gear for their offspecs? looking over AM gear it looks like we don't get a DPS focused set until invader gear :(

I think that does for every single "hybrid" class. They only get the option for their "real" role.

I would think influence gear would probably have a DPS options, the problem is set gear is usually better than purple on its own, on top of having powerful set bonuses that will anything out of the water.

Indeed. The problem with both PQ and ORvR Influence gear is that it's so low level. I think your best shot is buying level 25-26 greens with optimal stats from the AH.

Those classes are healers. Play them as healer! =)
DPS healer is too difficult.
Dying is no option.

DPS AM/Shaman can put out decent damage, while still having the ability for good clutch/backup healing with their class mechanic, going dps doesn't effect your absorb bubble which saves a lot of lives as well.

Once everything comes together and you have all the lifesteal abilities and tactics you can keep someone up pretty well.

It's just not meta because the only place they really fit in a 6 man is as a replacement for one of your tanks, but losing a guard probably isn't worth it in a serious environment.

Not too worried about talismans / RR abilities since they are interchangeable

Was wondering if there were any tricks or something to scrounge up a DPS sort of on par with the early RvR sets in terms of stat gain/efficiency.

And..then there's Zealot/RunePriest who can just toggle-swap their int/will stats...
