BW/Sorc vs the world

Hi,

I'd just like your opinions on the current situation of these two classes.
- What position do you think the fill in small/big scale PvP (Party/WB)
We know there is no solo possible
- What about their abilities, do you consider the kit they currently have sufficient? (Disarm, Slow, Silence, Root, knocback)
- Do you think that there is any other valid build than 100% glass cannon?
- What of the dmg output, is it worth all the downsides?
- Why would you pick this class over any healer with rDPS spec? (Shammy, Arch Mage, Rune Priest, Zeal)

Admirable effort! I'd hardly claim that as a reasonable solo build tho.

sorc lacks the kiting skills bw has. (2 sec cast time for a slow skill on sorc means: enemy is in your face by the time the cast is done or enemy is out of range if you try to prevent them from fleeing. Bw is clearly superior here with channel slow and range kd and sorcs disarm is meh and tactic knockback on aoe crit is not that reliable and janky)
both classes are a bit bleak when it comes to interesting utility imo though bw has some cc skills, cleanse and heal db.
both lack good range dps. in pve, you go into melee range and spam 1 button...
burst build is weak to disrupt/block and suffers from long CD on your main burst skill.
aoe build has a nice tactic and a nice close range channel skill; the rest is kinda flavour on top that needs some more luv.
both kill themselves through their mechanic and have very limited healing (bw crappy tactic and sorc weak dot(disruptable/cleansable)) meanwhile every melee dps now has some form of self heal. i think its time to give bw/sorc some better self sustain (slightly better) (SW also deserves a tiny one too )

while these observations/ideas come from a solo perspective, i think that they are viable in group/wb situations.
its not my intention to see the classes being overtuned; all i want is better balance
