Hi,
I have a friend that has the red box for the Web Server and the yellow box for the Login Server. We've tried checking the read only issue, excluded the folder and the exe from the firewall, turned off the firewall, made an exception for the folder and the exe in AVG, and tried turning AVG off. Nothing has helped. We have even tried downloading the game and launcher again and still have the problem.
Can anyone help us?
Thanks

Re: Launcer Problems/Web Server Offline
That sounds beyond my level of expertise. I'm looking at instructions on how to set up a vpn, but I have no idea how I'd do that to the game server?

www.hotspotshield.com is recommended, free, and fairly simple. Use the UK server.
Re: Launcer Problems/Web Server Offline
I tried the hotspotshield and he's still having the problem. We are in the same apartment and I don't have any issues. The only difference is he's connected wirelessly and I'm plugged into the modem. He was playing fine one day and then the next it just quit.
Is there something on the modem I can check?

Re: Launcer Problems/Web Server Offline
I have a bit of a theory going. Because of the way the launcher runs, it can appear to be a form of malware, as it injects itself into the game client. This is probably getting flagged by antivirus/firewall programs and pieces are getting removed on the next reboot, causing it to fail. Try disabling AV/firewall, re-downloading the game, and whitelisting the entire folder so it's left alone.noheat wrote:I tried the hotspotshield and he's still having the problem. This may be easier if you used the torrent, as you can just do a force re-check and it may overwrite/replace the bad/missing files without having to download the entire thing again.
It would be helpful to know if this works, and what security programs are being run so we can make a note of problematic ones in the future.
