New Player from the UK!

Hello all, so nice to be here and to finally experience this game!

I played 40k for the most part during the late 2000s as a Space Marine. I played Dawn of War 1 and Dark Crusade. I was enthralled with the hobby, it was dark, grim and so cool. I did notice Fantasy but it wasn't really something I wanted to get into.
What I have heard of Warhammer Online was when it started getting advertisement. I went into Games Workshop to paint my miniatures and discuss it with others. Of course it got comparisons to WoW, two guys were more interesting about the names using War at the start, WarHammer and WarCraft I was a stupid teen and didn't follow the conversation after.
I seen some screenshots of the game and I loved how detailed it was. I clearly remember seeing a ship docked at some city. I really wanted to play.

We didn't have internet, PC was only just able to run DoW and I couldn't afford to pay the sub. I played RuneScape at school. So I never got the chance to play the game.
The shutdown announcement was sad, wish I had the chance to play. But now I'm super excited to try it out!
