The old Dwarf Road scenario feedback

This scenario is the event one now, so many people will play it for weekly rewards and can experience it more.

I call this one "a running SC" because you can experience strange thing there - one side can have 30+ kills, other side have 3 and this one still wins, because all they do is running from one BO to another while AVOIDING FIGHTS.
This is possible because you can use mounts there and because BOs are closer together and provides too much (and fast) victory points, while kills too little. In fact, you can lose this and still have score like 40:1 here.
I suppose that SC should be designed for fighting and not the opposite.

Suggestion:
- lower the gain from BOs or raise the points from kills.

Your thoughts ?

Meh, it's the one scenario that the 'I'd rather die a thousand times than join a group' crew can get a win vs a group. It's basically the PvD of scenarios as it can be won without ever interacting with the enemy.

I say leave it as it is and let them have it. Every other sc weekend is designed for groups, so it's nice for the solo queuers to get one in the rotation.

Put a flag in the middle which gives double the points so people who ONLY go for flags and avoid PVP have to fight enemy players more

NO Thank you, we already have enough SCs ruined by such things, like thunder valley -

All you will accomplish is yet another arena where one side sits in spawn because there is no longer a reason to leave it.

Translation:

Our premade spent a lot of time farming pugs at spawn but was too afraid to split up and cover the other flags so we lost and all we got was a bunch of credit for kills for the event. Boo-freaking-hoo.

Seriously, there are enough murder box scenarios out there. If you are too afraid to split your six in to two threes and cover two flags then the problem is you.

Maybe with new matchmaking system devs can make 3 teams in this SC? Would be fun if it was race-locked teams and people faught for home point and center dominance.

I lol'd pretty good at, "murder box," scenarios. Yeah it's nice when scenarios have mechanics and strategy associated with them.

I really like the idea of racial scenarios, the pop is up atm, so you could might get it to work during peak EU.

There are entrances for every scenario in the open world. I'd like to see these entrances fought over and contested. I don't know if there's a way, but something like double scenario rewards if you enter it using the real world entrance would be sweet.

Get those scenario premades out of Altdorf and IC, and out into the lake. If they're content to farm pugs in the weekend scenario, make them play the game instead of afking in city until a pop.

Scenarios are crucial for the casual player base. They need some serious attention, and frankly rethinking imo.

You guys seem to be forgetting that during the Weekend Warfront Scenario event there was a one-hundred and fifty kill count requirement in effect. You can't achieve that by standing around looking at each other.

I forgot nothing. The situation described by the OP was getting the kills but not the win. I know they could have gotten the win with a little extra effort by merely backing off and dealing with the caps. But they didn't. I cannot tell you if they just got overly myopic and forgot to check on the BO status or if they were actually afraid to split up b/c they might die ... but I've been in premades that do one or the other or both.

If there is an actual complaint here it might be that the warfront goals needs to be adjusted to the scenarios at hand. There are, indeed, some scenarios that can be very challenging to get the required kills. Maybe some more thought should be put into either selecting different scenarios or changing the warfront requirements to match the situation.

What should not happen is to create yet another scenario that makes it convenient for premades to farm pugs. Thunder Valley and Blood of the Black Cairn already got that treatment as did Serpent's Passage with the barriers not to mention removing guards and other comeback mechanisms. That is WoW arena thinking and not WAR Scenario thinking. And, yeah, I get this is RoR but the bones of the game came from WAR and should honor that heritage. Otherwise you get monstrosities like Wrath of Heroes ...
