Clarification from devs required

Greetings!

There is an item in game called 'Well-mounted skull'. When used, it creates a pike with skull over the body of fallen enemy player.

Almost a year ago this item stopped to work for me. Pike with skull do not appear anymore. Despite of this, you continue to grant this item during some events.

I've described this situation in bug tracker. @Vegetaplays closed my ticket once and then again, second time, without comment. Mounted skull still not work for me.

What's going on? Item works for all players except me? Devs do not want to fix this item? If you, devs, don't want to make comment in bug tracker, maybe you post it here for clarification?

Hello, I apologize for not clarifying the situation with the bug. This item will only work during the Night of Murder Live Event, outside of the live event it will not work.

But still it is the same animation like the STAKE from WH where you block enemys from getting rezzed. And that also has no longer the animation.

Thank you for the answer. It is sad to hear that. And as result of your clarification, there are 2 points I have to notice:

1. Item can be 'used' with cooldown starting. How about to make usage impossible outside of the live event? If you don't want people to use mounted skull, maybe you should lock the item somehow?

2. How about to make a description inside the item text? Mounted skull always worked for years before. If you decide to change its mechanic, maybe you should post the changes somewhere, just to let us know?

I think it's a shame that it was taken out. For me, this small item was part of the player-player interaction together with the tentacle cake, fireworks the cowpie or emotes. The removal of these small possibilities makes the gaming experience a bit more generic again.

I had previously assumed that this was just a bug and not a conscious decision. I would be interested to know why this decision was made in this way.
