Can we have the old campaign back

We have had the scheduled cities for a while and its not really met its aim of getting more competitive fights. This came at the cost of taking away any meaning for the campaign which kept people in the lakes. Given its pretty similar to prior where theres maybe 1 org city and 1 pug city that has a close fight and the rest are just stomps can we go back to the campaign as it was.

The fights are not better, correct but at least the sieges don't happen when 90% of server pop is asleep.

+1,

New campaign was an interesting experiment, but did not succeed in improving the game. The past iteration was better.

City timers and lotd on a schedule has removed the players ability to achieve these objectives. Basically it has become boring.

I'd like to add that the pvp zone bubble should change upon flip. This gives us new areas to fight and changes some of the dynamics.

Not saying the current campaign is good but what kind of achievement is it to have stalemates during prime time, while at off-peak hours one sides locks all forts without opposition for almost daily city?

What are you solutions to people itentionally throwing zones and forts (both intentional throwing or just not turning up, both of which happened before) in order to trigger cities? Or EU almost always being a stalemate and then NA pushing city when EU goes to sleep and the numbers become lop-sided?

The introduction of cities pretty much killed off all sense of "realm priding" a defense, i.e. subbornly defending something for the fun of it or to spite the enemy as it just led to both sides being denied access to better rewards, and IMO the server never really recovered from that shift in mentality.

Any time it's possible to lose to get access to better or quicker rewards, enough of the playerbase will jump on that chance for easy rewards and skew the campaign experience. IMO any proposal to change fort and city progression without taking that into account is doomed to fail.

It will never be perfect - the old was better than the new thats all - so what if people do throw? At least its a zone swap!

Get rid of scheduled cities and remove personal loot rolls.

All of a sudden people no longer just want the most amount of zones as quick as possible to increase their loser roll.
