If the lag is gone or has at least improved, that's good news. I cut down on some allocations which were causing pressure on the GC. There are still more allocations than I'd like (the network packets, for example, as they recreate byte buffers every time), but if the game's become playable in the meantime, then great.

Would it be possible to collect money for a better RAM? Larger, shorter access times etc to give you guys some more space for content development.
Would GW/EA be pissed or could it be possible to have a money collection for that exact same amount?

I know, but there's always a work around which just has to be found. A lawyer could be helpful.

Like for example: Let's assume one guy has a company. He hires one of the devs and pays him money for freelancer "coding" projects (or whatever...). No high amounts so that he won't get in trouble with taxes. That company guy collects money from the community for small purposes via online donations.

This way the community could offer financial help yet nothing was spent on ROR directly. It's hella sneaky!
