I'm interested in rolling a witch hunter. Can anyone tell me how they perform in T2?

Witch Hunter are a real pain in the ass for clothies and Are extremely good at ganking solo.
You don't bring much aoe but great for single target

Worst class on order with SM.
Their is no gear for them, you are stuck using calamitous and butchers (no butchers weapons) and the butchers gear sells for like 20g a piece. Haven't seen a single blue or purple sword/pistol.
And secondly the class stinks w/o mastery points, you are essentially walking heal debuff, and once SW get theirs at 21 there will be literally no valid reason to play WH at all. Not to mention WL will be getting pounce too. I hardly ever see WH on my destro character, it's like a finding a leprechaun.

in zerg vs. zerg orvr they are horrible in t2. they do not bring any aoe, need pocket guard to last more than few secs cuz tons of ranged dps everywhere you look.
in gank they are actually nice. same in small scale (scenarios), random fight in the middle of nowhere etc.
they suffer the problem as every other mdps = tons of ranged, need a good team.

You won't gank anyone but undergeared lowbies, or terrible players. You have ZERO reliable CC, and no burst damage in T2. All you have to do if a WE/WH comes out of stealth from you is snare them, detaunt, and run away then spam /laugh because they can't do anything.

So for melee dps should I go slayer or white lion?
I'm interested in melee atm after playing ranged chars so much.

I meant gank when u have 3v3 or something like that. when u have friend or 2 and you jump on few destro running to join the zerg. heal debuff is nice for these situation, same as abso + bullet + m1 for burst.
