Cannot reset password

First I forgot my password, but was able to request a new one with the "I forgot my password" link. Since the provided one is approximately 100 alphanumeric characters, I woul like to change it, since this is kinda hard to remember.

The eMail also said I should be able to change it in my profile, but when I click on profile in the upper right corner, nothing happens. I stay on the same page. The eMail also states that " If you have any difficulties please contact the board administrator", but who is the board administrator?

So I thought "Nevermind, I'm going to use this password and solve the issue later", but I cannot login with this password
