Dunno how the ram is set, if its set same as cannons, but we have encountered quite serious issue:
Ram was towed by ram owner, when suddenly it was "placed" by someone unmounted while still on tow by owner. Owner was mounted and ram did not have sign of snare, stun or any movement impairment effect and visibly there was animation that ram changes stance from being towed to being "armed".
This situation did not happen once, but at least 10 times during Destruction siege of Dragonwake at sunday between 3AM and 4AM CET.
I would ask to review this behaviour if its intentional design or is it bug.
For example cannons have the immunity from stealing when owner is either mounted and towing it or using it to attack. Also when cannons are used by someone other than owner and owner gets to his cannon, the user is instantly denied any control and owner takes full control.
This behaviour encourages players either to troll their attacking fellows or gives means to an active sabotage in favour of defending realm.
If there is any chance to make ram immune to stealing or.. even better, to give info to owner via short message in log that someone is using his ram, just short note " XYZ is using your ram "

Re: Ram grabs
what if the ram owner dies and either his warband wipes and no one can take it or hes constantly being spawn killed. i believe in my opinion having a rule "only have the ram spawner move the ram" built into an actual mechanic could lead to exploiting this new advantage and only ever have the ram spawner called out and focused hard every second of the siege.

Re: Ram grabs
As a ram driver on numerous occasions i am well aware of the risk that i am called out and watched closely. However as you have mentioned the situation that ram driver and his WB may die, the siege is practicly over. And imagining the situation you mentioned, it actually is the state when defender makes a move, jumps on attackers and manages to kill them all, so thats prettymuch the end of siege anyways.space44 wrote: Mon Feb 01, 2021 3:02 am what if the ram owner dies and either his warband wipes and no one can take it or hes constantly being spawn killed. i believe in my opinion having a rule "only have the ram spawner move the ram" built into an actual mechanic could lead to exploiting this new advantage and only ever have the ram spawner called out and focused hard every second of the siege.
But prolly i expressed myself incorrectly, but my idea was " When owner moves the ram, noone is able to interract with it unless owner dismounts either by placing it/gettin dismounted by gettin hit or dying " like cannons.
