Launcher Crashing trying to update

So I just started playing about a week ago (played back in 2012-13). I've updated twice so far with on issues, once a day or so after I started, and once this morning. Played fine this morning no problem.

This afternoon it seems there was another update. I can't get updated though. The launcher keeps crashing. It's at a different point each time, sometimes downloading the manifast, sometimes verifying, sometimes during the actual download.

Tried rebooting, made sure the folders are read-only, made sure the launcher is whitelisted in my AV.

Kind of bummed because I was really enjoying getting back into things.

Any ideas on what could be causing this problem? It just started this afternoon with this most recent update.
