I just wanted to know what there currently is under work? It still seems that some people dont get inf at all, or have it being reset every now and then.
Also wanted to ask if there is any Inf for BOs planned at all.. I already asked that about a month ago or so(?), but never got any useful respone regarding this topic. I am just repeating myself here, but with a missing cross-group share of inf (rp+xp as well) on kills, no BO reward, combined with random inf removals i am afraid of never actually seeing anyone reach the 'Elite' reward before we prolly gonna get T2 opened. Now maybe there are a few souls who are lucky enough to have already made their advanced or even elite rewards in Nordland due to sporadic events we get there, as well as having that zone lock a LOT more (we even had many bug-locks that perhaps awarded some ppl 2x or even 3x300 inf ?) than any other, but literally noone will have any Elfen/Dwarf rewards once t2 opens.
I just wish for at least SOME other way to farm Influence than Locks and Kills. Since its literally impossible to lock a zone, if the enemy realm simply does not show up for skirmishes at all. I find it pretty disencouraging to even go into any other zone but Nordland and i am quite sure im not alone with that thought.

Re: Influence
I don't really see a very big problem with locking zones.
What I see as a problem is influence resets, because they results in big number of influence being lost.

Re: Influence
How many times did you see Chrace lock? Since i played it was exactly zero times for me :>sotora wrote:I don't really see a very big problem with locking zones.
Re: Influence
3 times, but I was very rarely in Elf until recently. Elf have smallest amount of players, so it is rarest/hardest to lock, but it's possible. Best bet is propably when there was fighting over lair, and your side is winning more sc's that losing - once that two conditions are met it is possible to lock.noisestorm wrote:How many times did you see Chrace lock? If you're wondering I am playing War for few weeks.
Anyway best solution for zones locking more frequently is both more players playing & more players putting effort. Empire is locked most often because it has by far most players. Evenings or weekends is best for locking imho, especially dwarf and elf.
If influence would not reset - I would already be at least 2nd tier inf reward in dwarf and close to 1st tier in elf.

Re: Influence
I'll put my thought in other words, so you will understand what i actually meant...
There is absolutely NO incentive to go anywhere else but Empire atm, simply due to the lack of having any chance to get the Elfen/Dwarf gear. In addition the Zones arent as easy to roam and farm as Nordland and there are no players there anyways. Do you already see where i am going to? Now if Nordland gets locked, people either go afk, play SCs or farm instead of going to Elf/Dwarf and try to get all action there. You will perhaps see 2-4 people running around and capping all flags but thats it. But now... IF you give the people a _reason_ to actually graze around other Zones, it would first help people achieve their Inf-Rewards, would also refresh some of the RvR feeling (since its actually 'new' zones being played in) and would also give players a reason to not simply zerg all in one zone, but perhaps split upon different areas and avoid the zerg, while still finding enemys.
Thats more or less what i thought behind some 'tweaks' regarding the current Influence system.
And repeating myself here again: I really wish to hear some sort of Official Response on whats the plan about Inf atm. Just anything that brightens us up..

Re: Influence
Its a problem because rvr is mostly dead, if more ppl entered the rvr zones and this doesnt mean warcamp to warcamp in nordland then we would all gain a decent amount of inf, enough to claim the rewards.

Tell me again how much shared Inf you get when there is a good Premade with 2Bws or Engis focusing out all low targets.
Even if you get kills, you will get an epic 1 or 2 Inf per enemy. wow.. RvR mostly revoles around Objectives anyways and that then is accompanied by enemys alongside. It is mostly dead because people are bored of zerging in nordland WC <-> WC. Giving Influence is at least _some_ sort of attraction towards other zones as well, since some of the aquirable items are as good as Lair stuff, but pretty much impossible to get atm.
