They just re-started the server, so you were probably unlucky in your timing. Wait 15-20 minutes, then try to log in again.

The screen comes up with the Warhammer logo for like 3 seconds or 5 then it closes right down to launcher again.

Telling you that's not it, I've tried plenty of times when the server has been up.
