Back in action

Hey,
im back in action after a long break. Can someone bring me up to date with the most important changes and maybe with the server pop. I wanna start a new char and would like to know wich side to pick and what class i should play ( i like every class and race in this beautiful game but i wanna focus on 1).

How about, when do you left, and what class you played to tell you what changed.

Thanks forgot to mention that,
cant remember the exact date but, i played a magus at the time when they changed the demons with more range/damage
