VPN Tunnel service MudFish not working all of a sudden

Hey,
I recently started enjoying this game again after main years of playing the live. So many memories and nostalgia coming back.
I live in Australia and on average my ping is 330-350ms, which, for in game, is pretty unplayable. I asked for advice in-game and someone suggested mudfish. I installed and set it up and for several hours of gaming my ping was 270ms and the lag wasn't noticeable anymore.

I tried logging back in today to pummel destro into the ground, but cannot seem to connect to the server. I can connect without mudfish on; so the servers are online.

I'm wondering why all of a sudden it went from working flawlessly to not even being able to log in? Anyone else experience this? Know a fix?

Ok, I just able to log in. Seems very hit and miss. It was my 7th or 8th log in attempt. Not a fix a know, but might help others. Yesterday it was just an instantly log-in everytime.
