Alpha / Beta / Release

Hello everyone,

I'm and old WAR player ( like a lots of people here i guess ) i can't really find any information about the server progress. It is on Alpha alright, does it means characters created during the alpha phase, will be lost on beta and same question for the release. Don't misunderstand me, i loved this game, i'm really thanksfull for this project, and i know it must takes a lots of time to the team. But time .. is time, and can't really spend hours doing fresh starts with new characters over and over again. I just would like to know what is currently planned about that. Sorry for my mistakes in english and nice to meet you all !

Without being an official source myself, I have heard numerous times that there will be no server wipes on here.

The alpha stage lable is mostly to give the devs some freedom in terms of players expecting bugs, crashes etc. And that things might take a little longer or be different from a paid studio with much more manpower and hours put in weekly.

Basicly, this is just them being true to us about expectations. That being said, its amazing on here bug are getting fixed and you can find online GMs for most of your problems should you encounter any.

We aim to do as little wiping of characters as possible. And the status of the project is a way to let people know what to expect. Alpha = not feature full yet (we are still lacking certain feature from mythic). Beta = feature full but still occassionally buggy.

consider it a final relase, ignore the alpha on the homepage.....it's there to tell to shut up to the balls breaker only.....

it just miss some end game content.
