Dps Bg and Bo

Can either get away with wearing dps gear in a WB? what one does more damage and by how much? whats to know?

dps BO is totaly useless in warband,literally, dps BG is a little better, coz he has some aoe debuffs/damage, but isnt that useful either

Bg > aoe - 160 wouds on crit, aoe +10% to crit on enemy, aoe reduce parry/block

Mm bg with off armor prob yes but un buff toughness at 650 + 2h from epic quest with avoidance proc is a must with full def tactics if you plan to run 2h in wb.

If you plan s+b just farm ruin as start point or push for conqueror which you do in no time now and is a great entry for t4 tanks now no point in off gear.

Pointing out that for def 2h bg prob the best set is still conqueror cuz too much block related stuff on vanq and conq but didnd't touch mine since that time.

Dont take wounds debuff tactic for now, the gear dont give you enough stuff to drop 1 def tactics it will do in future at warlord /sovereig level wherr you prob will be able to drop rugged for it.

BG is fine actually. Just don't have it replace a tank in the Warband but rather a dps so you don't need to run defensive tactics. You need a tank guarding you aswell.
You gonna take a slight dps loss in the warband but the debuffs and with the the Dark Protector buffs you're able to give the main dps in the warband (the main assist dps) better output as his group should allready be covered by 2x Chosen buffs or BO+Chosen buffs. The pro is that you don't need to lose the BO+CH auras if you take the BG as a dps spot and you still get the few perks the class have without losing the other tanks utillity.

Apply a guard on dps in wb and you are far superior than most SnB tanks who dont apply guard.
