Another help me pick my class thread woo!

TLDR : Halp me pick class : What i'm looking for : A class that can SOLO&GROUP in both PVE&PVP small scale/big scale whatever and I'd like to have a big impact on fights. I don't care what role it is or what faction that's all I want. (If this is all not achieveable in one class then i'd prioritize having a big impact on fights)

I'm coming here once and for all to pick my class that i'll be committing to since asking in-game hasn't been much help.

I will explain my point of view since I feel like this is relevant. I will try saying this without sounding like I have an ego because that's really not the point here. I come from a very competitive gaming background and I am very capable of being a top tier player. I learn very quickly and have an insane amount of hours in MMOs in general so high skill ceiling classes I am definitely okay with.

With all of this said I like to min max and i am very OCD about things and I also won't be leveling more than one character most likely so telling me to go try them all to level 15-20 and pick what I like the best or "play what you like it doesn't matter if you're good it'll be good" crap isn't going to cut it for me. There's always a better class than others etc in every game it's just how it is.

Knight/Chosen or Marauder. Probably marauder by the sounds of what you want and ease of solo leveling.

Alright, I actually tried the Marauder Class (not really high level though) And It didn't seem so interesting to be honest. I am more interested in KOTBS/Chosen.. Which one of the two is better you would say?

From what i've seen a lot of people have different ideas of what is strong/not strong and who is better between mirrors.

Well just to say later on Mara is a must have in both 6 man groups and WB (only dps that fits both) and has a good self heal with aoe for pve/soloing.

But Chosen can do more damage than a Knight but a Knight has more utility and is a must have in every Order group. Knight and Chosen are pretty simple to play compared to some classes but make a huge difference in every area of the game and are fun to play well (at least in 6 man setting, WB is kinda boring).

Okay sounds good thank you. I'm not sure whether or not i'll give Marauder a fair try I might just go with a KOTBS/Chosen but i'll take it into consideration.

By the way just wanted to clarify what I mean by a "high impact class" like something that can make a significant difference in a fight on his own by playing properly/well.

I would say dps healers have a big impact on fights, whether it is positive or negative. ^_^

This was originally the class I was looking at but after talking to a few people (even though everyone says different things) it seems that they end up being straight healers.

Fotm at the moment would be an Archmage.

Regarding the Knight/Chosen/Marauder question: Knight/Chosen is viable for Solo-RvR? I would prefer the Marauder in this case.

So like DOK/WP these are the only two correct?

And Shamans/Archmages. Pretty solid damage there, nice utility. I am not a fan of DPS Zealots/RPs though.
DPS DOK is also perfectly viable and a pretty great solo char.
