Just joined and looking for good PvE fun

After some reading, I am thinking about using marauder for a warrior like high dps first-time melee centered build. I've never played this game before.

Go for it! Don't proactively decide to focus strictly on PvE though. This game entirely centers around PvP, and it will always be a part of the experience. You can only make it so far in this game wothout getting bloody and its worth getting into the Realm vs Realm fights.
