Depends how you want to play. I‘d say defensive setup dok, dok, mdok, mara, chosen, (bg or bo depending what niche you want to fill in)
Or switch the mdok for a choppa for a more offensive style.

Ranged Setup I don’t know.

This is what we ran most nights for sc's , might sub 1 mdps for SH since the only range we have is from hybrd spec shammy. There is a lot of utility with this melee train set up.

SnB BO - 5s CD reduction spec
Choppa - left tree M4 and chop casts
WE - Witchbrew spec
Zealot - AP Ritual, hard CC, healbuff
Sham - strongest ST heals in game

RvR:
Chosen - aura not
BG/BO - Same as above
Any DPS works if played well in RvR
Zealot - same as above
DoK/Sham - DoK provides good AoE healing, but is less mobile and tanky than shaman

Id say best is Choppa with Marauder. Their synergies work really well with eachother and there is always Chop Fasta! to burst or to defend from Choppa. Dps dok works geat too especially with the aoe healdebuff. WE works well, but with WE it's better to have choppa imo. Zealot is pretty much mandatory.

Why BG over Chosen? And why so many choosing DoK's for healing not zealot and shaman?

What do you mean Dok over Shaman and Zeal? I just stated that Zeal is mandatory. Second heal class doesen't matter that much, as long as it isn't 2 same healerclasses. As why BG+BO as 2h? Because they can deal alot of damage and for meleetrain that extra pressure is everything. Nothin is wrong with chosen, but he got nerfed quite alot and provides mostly CrowdControl and resistances.
