New rvr gear

Any plans on new set gear for rvr I have been told conqueror gear is 2 years old now and that is top gear?

Well he asked specifically about rvr sets. Not everyone wants to do garbage pve for side grades. Especially when the players and devs are at a stalemate when it comes to acquisition of this Onslaught set. Not to mention that set is only BiS for a minority of classes.

A new set with an easing of entry into conq/dom would be a welcome change since everything below those two is a significant downgrade. The only thing keeping lower sets viable is mixing sets for multiple stat bonuses. Even then the mixing is like 2 piece conq 3-4 bl 2-3 piece anni/rare fortune/ruin. My marauder is 62+ and will likely have to buy 3 of 6 for a mid rank 40s set because I've won a total of 4 gold bags. Fortunately with set mixing I only really need 2 cheap parts. I'd hate to be a healer that really benefits from 6 piece with bad luck you get to be rr70+ before getting it. They also can't solo zerg serf and lay down top damage on a couple targets while solo to rake in free medals like a dps can.

I suspect we won't see anything until invader and Fortress zones unforately so don't hold your breath.
