Launcher Issue

Good morning,

yesterday I downloaded the client following the instructions, tried to make it start and yet I am not able to go after the launcher screen. After I put user&pass and click the Update button, the window close itself and nothing happens.

Here the launcher window, as you can see the "Login Server" is colored in yellow:

What I tried before posting here:

- Removing "Read Only" from the properties of the folder
- Giving "Run as Administrator" option to the launcher
- Putting the launcher in compatibility with Win8
- Checking that ".Net Framework 3.5" is enabled
- Restarting the pc (obviously)
- "netsh winsock..." stuff listed in the sticky post

My great doubt is: is it possible that I am having issues because the game is installed in D: and not on the C: drive? I don't have much space on C: 'cause I am using an SSD :D

Hi all,

I found a solution for this problem:

After clicking on "Update" on the launcher, i noticed that a file was being create in the root folder: RoRUpdater.exe, but it had no icon and after a while it disappeard. So I tried to launch it and windows notified me that it could contain a virus and that it couldn't be opened. No notification from windows defender at all.

After I put the game folder in exclusion from windows defender it launched without problem.
