Launcher crashes when I hit the "update" button... Any suggestions?

I have followed all of the steps to downloading, I moved the folder out of the original location and unchecked the read only box, downloaded and ran directx and everything, but whenever I open the launcher as administrator and I click the update button, the launcher stops working and the entire application closes... Any suggestions that will help? Thank you

Is there an error message?
You can also try to use the ror launcher from this website. Its slightly newer and therefore shouldnt perform an update upon inital start. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16
