Shaman/AM Delay when using 5 mechanic points for spells

Not sure if this is already a known issue or not, and if it is do what you will with this thread.

When playing on my Shaman when i cast group healing, with 5 mechanic points to boost healing spells, the cast bar will go for the time the skill should take but the spell won't cast. Instead my character will be stuck on the finishing animation of the group heal cast, and it takes around 1-2 seconds for the ability to actually cast. this doesn't really happen with 4 or less mechanic points and if it does it's not that noticeable.

I was looking at some of the AM threads and noticed they were saying they had similar issues but never went into specific detail. All I kept reading was that they were experiencing delays from casting spells when it should've been near instant.

I honestly for a while thought it was just lag since my ping is normally in the 170-200 range but if others are experiencing similar issues than maybe my ping is

Im pretty sure all casts atm are 60% of the cast time, no matter how many points you have. Problem is the castbar is still based on the old mechanic, so with 5 points it pretty much doesnt show any bar, but you still have to wait for the cast.

From my experience the mechanic doesn't work. The cast time reduction is definitely not working, I don't know about effectiveness.

The problem is not on your end, the mechanic use on live was minimal, here it doesn't exist at all, because broken instant casts.
Dying is no option.

With 5 stacks you have to wait til the end of the GcD before it casts. You can’t move or start another cast. Test it out with mobs and you’ll learn the timing of it.

Every cast after the first at 5stacks works fine. The cast bar gets **** though. Known issues.

Ok so i'm glad it's not an just me, But this just happened as well. I was doing ORVR earlier and when i casted group heal (5 heal points again), cast bar showed up, character didn't cast and so i waited 2 seconds, nothing happened. clicked it again. global cooldown procced again, nothing. then i did it a third time and it worked after a 1-2 second delay. So does this only seem to happen at 5 points?

The mechanic is bad anyway, so fixing this bug might be low priority.
Dying is no option.
