Gold wipe?

Someone mentioned on /ad that there will be gold wipe? Does rumors are true?
And if they are how it will look? All characters gold will be set to 0?
I find this idea very frustrating, becouse i have 150 gold already gathered, by killing mobs/selling things on AH, since over half year, and i find just unfair to just wave thame goodby...

I believe that gold wipe happened a while back when people were duping things and gold got reset to 5 if you had more than that, i have not heard anything about it going to happen again.

Theres likely to be a wipes again right now though theres nothing to buy that wont be useless after each cap increase.

Azarael mentioned something about a *possible* gold cap having been discussed in the past but I don't know any more about it - didn't sound like it'd been decided though. But like I've said before, I'd personally like to see another gold reset as there's been plenty of bugs/duping/exploiting since the last one.

Gold wipe to preventing ppl having unlimited gold from bug/exploits seems fine, but ppl who farmed they gold in legit way shouldnt be punished, so imo dropping gold to about 5 is just ridiculous. 100g for example seems to be better number imo.

5 is low but remember these dupers will just spread 2000g over 20 characters if its 100g. You can do the same with your 100g at 5. Ofcourse the dupers could do that with 20 accounts but thats going to be a pain for them to move gold around 400 characters.

I would have to make more alts than, i used to have only 2 destro chars and no order...
But anyway can anyone involved confirm that would happen?
I was saving my gold for future, not buing much on AH for long time, feels unfair if it would occured.

If exploit is known, it should be very easy to find out who have gained lots of money after selling exact items or killing exact mobs via logs. There will be no need to punish normal players.

But if there would be anyway planned any gold wipes it they should be announced 1st. PPl could at least propa dye thmselves :p
