No sound after client update

The problem is in the title, after the client update a few days ago I have no sound in game, tried activating and deactivating it and a few other thing but the result is still the same.

For complete information:

When fisrt patching the client I got an error, I restarted the client as admin and the patch went succesfull. After that the problem showed up.

Do someone have a solution or do I need to redownload the game (or can you point me the specific file I need to redownload so that I can save a little time ^^')?

Maybe search the forum for language change.
There is the link to your config file and your setted language you want to use in the game.
Please check that it is still set to your language. If you have the default client it should be set to english, as it will not play sounds if you don't have the corresponding soundfiles.

That is my Idea.

Apart from that, in RvR my Sounds stop playing if my cah is full when in large RvR fights.
Maybe check the link in my signature. There is a point to clean your cache folder.
You might try that.

Only the Return of Reckoning launcher was updated, nothing to do with the client and files itself were.

Try deleting profile folders (make a back up of them before you do this). May also want to try un-checking read only on the game folder.
