let's assume:

2 weapons - same dps, one is 2.4 speed, the other 1.6 - which in which hand and why?

2 weapons - different dps and speed (55 dps / 2.4 speed vs 53 dps / 1.6 speed) which in which hand and why?

2 weapons - same speed but dps is different (55 vs 53 dps) does it matter which in which hand or does only the 'combined' dps count anyway?

Can someone point me to a thread where this core mechanics is explained in more detail? might have missed it.

let's assume:

2 weapons - same dps, one is 2.4 speed, the other 1.6 - which in which hand and why? 1.6 main .. WE kisses based on proc chance. More hits = chances to proc more kisses = more dps

2 weapons - different dps and speed (55 dps / 2.4 speed vs 53 dps / 1.6 speed) which in which hand and why? 55 on main hand. 55 > 53 2.4 speed = more burst

2 weapons - same speed but dps is different (55 vs 53 dps) does it matter which in which hand or does only the 'combined' dps count anyway? the weapons with more dps always on main.

55 on main 53 off... stats doesnt really matter.. neither weapons with proc.

Just follow the rule, always slot the weapon with High Dps on main, if both share same DPS but difference speed...give priority to fast speed.

Ok, how about this one:

Subj Dagger (2.4 spd with DMG proc) vs Influence Dagger (1.7 spd) *not looking at the daggers so I could be a little off on the speed*


Same DPS, similar stats, one is FAST the other has the DMG proc. Which wins?

subj dagger is 55 dps - influence only 53 dps, a lot faster and 20 melee power in addition
