Game Crashes before character select

There is a friend of mine trying to run the game he's downloaded, We've tried just about everything on the stickied checklists and it has worked to no avail.

I am having him re download it now as thats all I can think of (maybe a file got corrupted)- but I gave him my exact folder via google doc, so its hard to see that as the potential problem-. A short description is he opens up his game, logs in, its being run as admin and "no read only's" are checked and his game loads and it gets to what looks like a terms and conditions page and then it quits. I tried searching the problem and it just didnt show up, I tried a lot of stuff to try to help him but I believe its beyond me unless I was behind the mouse and keyboard which I am not... a bit of help now to get his game working and would be much appreciated.

I see in that very brief right click near the end of the video he has Avast installed. Perhaps the AV is killing it. I don't recall ever seeing the EULA on launch though.

Alright ill have him try uninstalling avast. Thanks for the quick response

Mine was doing the exact same thing. I tried all of the fixes that were discussed in the stickies, and just ended up deleting everything. I hope you have better luck than i did. If you fix it, tell us how.

Buddy ended up fixing it just by downloading and re-downloading, his torrenting stuff wasnt downloading every file so I ended up just giving him my folder via google docs and eventually it worked after his like 3rd redownload
