SH Renown Advancement

Super Noob to SH Renown Points.

Is there an order of precedence for spending them, like cookie cutter?
I'm staying path of big shootin,' so someone told me ballistics>wounds>initiative?
Also heard + to range crit wasn't worth it...

Hope this post makes sense, hard to explain something I'm trying to understand.

Thank you,

Hey bud. My preferred approach is to grab Deft Defender for ranged avoidance, then I have CW3 (Cleansing Wind), but even CW1 will do wonders as an oh **** button. Once you have those, you can think about ranged crit. Don't ever put renown points into stats unless they're left over singles.

HTL works now so screw avoidance, full ranged crit should be max priority, you can take CW as a crutch if you feel like you need it.

Hold The Line, from shield-bearing tanks.

You are going to want to focus on Ballistic Skill early on and then pump Weapon Skill and Ranged Crit once you are in T4.
