choppa charge

hi , it is me again ...
i think Choppas should be immune to CC WHILE in charge mode ( only when they are charging , not when they are already CC'ed)
why ? because it is a gape closer ability and the nature of it . Anyway , it has a 30 secs cooldown , so the choppa have plenty of time to die before the cooldown is over . :)

Charge is already very good in its current iteration. I disagree that it needs any buffs because of its strength and utility.

Choppas aren't exactly "meta" so I mean if it made the class better and a viable option rather than always having a Mara. Why not?

Charge is a staple across 4 classes and a working, valued ability, chopper isn't overly in the meta due to its lack of movement.

I didn't imply that its movement was the problem. It is because it is this poor little shadow of what it was on live. But rather than rework the entire class, a simple ability swap to give it something over the other 4 melees could potentially make it slightly more appealing?

it would make playing this class less of a pain, but honestly it will not change much

with the amount of snares, roots, knockbacks and disables that all classes have (xcept choppa/slayer) we need something much more serious

Choppa i just feel is in a very bad place because of the way the game is going atleast from the destro perspective

The class needs "a lot" to function: pocket heal, pocket guard and a pocket armor debuff while at the same time it feels soo much better playing slayer becuase of the superior ablites and tactics it has access to

VS the extremely tanky armor stacking and rdps heavy meta

It almost feels unbearable to me to even try to play the class without a group and feels saddening when my 40/41 choppa in merc gear is out preformed by my 40/32 mara wearing t3 gear

Im not advocating for this "charge buff" for choppa i just kinda wanted to vent :?

Rampage/SL/ID surely make things a lot better, but for a pairing that requires three "pockets" supporting it and almost completely lacks defence, CC and utility - our damage is nowhere near high enough, either a slayer or a choppa
(unless you have like 60-70+ rr and BiS gear but thats not an argument really)

Chopper isn't in the meta, because mara and WE does everything much better, simple as this.
