Most/Least Played Classes?

New player here! I have a tendency to pick the classes left behind and try my best to bring them to the fore. I'm having a lot of fun on a variety of classes at the moment (have a Chosen, DoK, WP, and SW on the go) but I want to find one and stick with it for leveling up.

Can anyone give me an idea of what's being played? Bonus points if you can explain why people don't play the least played classes!

I'm like that as well. I suggest you pick a DPS, tank, and a healer. That way you can hop on whatever you need to. Both sides always need more guarding tanks. But each class is well represented. Read some forum threads and pick one that sounds fun.

For Destro the least played class is a Magus (IMO).

Why? Because they sucked for SO long, nobody had interest in playing them. Now that they are "good", I think people have just settled into their classes and havnt bothered rerolling to a Magus.

Also, Magus has its own pros/cons but has weaker kill power than Sorcs (but without backlash) so I think thats another reason people dont play them. In Warband settings most would prefer Sorc for the kill power, since youll have heals to negate backlash...

but as for a solid solo class, that has awesome range, and damage, etc... Magus is good.


For Order, thats a tough one... It would probably be either Ironbreakers or maybe Slayers? Order seems to never have shortage of RDPS (SW/BW or Engis) I see a TON of Knights and SMs... but not so many IBs...

For MDPS, I see a ton of WLs.... WHs and Slayers are probably lower populated classes. Hard to say the single LEAST played... I think it depends on what type of game you are playing...

And the least class played overall is Magus if you ask me on destro.
Has a bad reputation for no reason. usefull in WB and can put out decent DPS.


idk for order. from a destro point of view: they don't lack Kotbs.

I feel like its fairly balanced between them all in t4, but lower tiers you do see more of certain classes.

Can anyone give me an idea of what's being played?

From EU evening ZonePop info it seems that most popular destro classes are Shaman, Chosen and Squig Herder, order - KOBS and WP.

From a destro point of view i would have to agree with theGat3keeper, you will always encounter a WL, KOTBS and all the range dps, being supported by a fairly even amount of the healer classes amongst the mix. Iron breaker would appear to be the least played on Order.

On destro i would say we lack range, and out of those the magus would be at the bottom, ( i reckon it's that gumby looking disk)
