default interface

Post#1 » Sat Jan 17, 2015 10:10 pm

I have a character Nathanien whose interface is gone When I load on the screen you do not see any action bars minimaps inventory etc... I admit I did this myself in error when I disabled all mods not realizing this would also disable EU default mods anyway can I fix this for this character? I would just delete but he has a mount a 5 gold is a lot of grind

Can you open the main menu? I.e press "Esc" and get options.

Go to User settings > Interface tab > layout editor. There's a button to "Restore defaults". That will restore everything back to how it first was.

Try manually changing the video settings. Go to the game folder, open "user" folder.

Right click "UserSettings" > Edit. In the text file look for:

Code: Select all

<Graphics>
        <Mode window_frame="true" fullscreen="false" />
        <FullScreen width="5760" height="1080" bitdepth="32" />
        <Windowed width="1680" height="1050" bitdepth="32" />
        <Color brightness_boost="0.000" monitor_gamma="2.147" />
    </Graphics>
It should be near the top of the text file. Change Fullscreen to "false" and change the Windowed width attributes to something smaller than your monitor. I.e 1280x1024 (unless your monitor is much smaller than that). Save it, and close the file. Load the game again.[/color]

Okies, let's try this then:
Go to the game's main directory > User > Settings > Martyrs Square and remove the folder named Nathanien. Don't delete it - just place it somewhere else, in case this doesn't work.
After you do so and restart the game, your interface should go back to default view.
