Still having issues with Blacked out box

I've downloaded the new launcher file and replaced it with the old and still having the same Blank Black Box. No "Connecting", nothing. Any suggestions?

right click the launcher > properties > unblock.

I had this issue trying to log in from the UK. I had to set my VPN to the Netherlands for it to work it fried my brain for ages!

once in properties, under what tap is the unblock option located? having trouble finding it.

If it's not on the first tab, then don't worry about. That's what causes a blank box sometimes. Back to the tech support sticky for answers.

I have the same issue and un-checking read only on the launcher does not fix the issue
