Problems with "Functional" PQs & forcing progress

As some of you may have encountered over the past couple of days, there is a current bug with many PQs which are listed as "Functional" in the stickied threads where even though youre killing the correct mobs, the PQ tracker shows 0 progress in kills counted. I have posted this on the bug tracker as well, but wanted to post some details and a workaround for those wishing to complete PQs until this bug is fixed.

What is happening is that for some very odd reason kills are not being counted while you are in the PQ area - that is, within the area where the PQ and the progress is displayed in your UI.

In order to get kills to count, you must be OUT of the PQ range (PQ tracker no longer displayed in your UI). There are 2 ways you can accomplish this:

1 - Find mobs very close to the border of the PQ and pull them far enough to be out of range of the PQ

2 - Kill mobs, then quickly run out of the PQ area. As long as you exit the PQ before they respawn, the kills are then counted. **This also works if you are AoE farming mobs and manage to kill several then die, or if you join a SC while mobs are dead. Basically, you leaving the area in any manner before mobs respawn = progress in the PQ

Please note though that if using the 2nd method, you will be stuck on the final kill and unable to advance to stage 2. You MUST be able to kill the last mob out of the PQ range in order for the trigger to take place that counts it and advances to Stage 2 at the same time.

This seems to be, from the testing Ive done in a few PQs throughout T1 and T2, an issue that only happens in Stage 1. If you can manage to flip it to stage 2 using the method i described above, you can continue with the PQ as usual without having to leave the area.

Unfortunately I haven't found a workaround for any that require interacting with objects yet, but Im working on it and will update if I find a way.
